Who writes this
Michael Fellner
Michael Fellner writes Try It Anyway. He also runs DETGAAO, a fractional CMO and revenue architecture practice.
There’s rarely one truth and almost never only one way. I go and find out for myself.
I go anyway, do it my own way, and write down what actually happened, the cost as well as the win.

Who it is for
People who suspect the advice they are getting is generic, or comes from someone with less at stake than they have. Mostly founders, operators and people mid-career.
And who it is not for
- People who want to be handed the one right way. He will sometimes give you the playbook, because what else is the account good for if it cannot help anyone. What he will not do is say do this, and do it exactly this way.
- People who want hype. Encouragement is welcome: try it, I think you can do it. Manufactured urgency is not.
- Beginners wanting step one of ten. This assumes you have already been handed the advice and have been living with it a while.
